Last month, Peanut Brittle was in France, but could not get his nectar high enough so he returned home. The kids were still upset over the dying stray cat. PB took Apple with him on his return trip to France, where he did complete his LTW and then enjoyed a belated honeymoon with Apple. The trip was also a nice break for Apple who was able to just sit around and paint or play guitar, getting her LTW almost halfway done. After learning all the songs, the couple returned home where the fun REALLY got started! Three birthdays and a huge amount of fails later, everyone said goodbye to Sapphire. While everyone was in mourning, Apple announced that the honeymoon produced a surprise pregnancy. PB then butt dialed the cops losing us points and then Starburst and Peanut Butter showed off their two newest kitties.
I don’t normally do a Sim Check, but it has been a month and this one is easy.
Cinnaburst, Glacier, Apple, Oleander and Peanut Brittle with Starburst (front), Peanut Butter (middle) and Lifesaver (back, between Glacier and Oleander).
Jade and Wasabi are just to the right of them all. Hidden is the result of the honeymoon pregnancy since they just moved and you have not met the new addition yet. I guess that means we should go back in time!
Now going back in time…please stand by.
Soon after Lifesaver and Limeade were born, Wasabi hit the deck. -5
Peanut Butter got this for the 1,000,000 jump up on to a counter.
PB got the food dishes ready after a recent move (the first time in which I hated the town).
Cinnaburst went down soon after. -5
Wasabi, Cinnaburst and Spearmint all met up in the bathroom to have a contest of “Who will pass out first?”
The contest ended before anyone passed out. Spearmint and Cinnaburst ran off to bed just as PB was going in to tell them to.
Wasabi did give us some more negative points before showering (I think) and going to bed. –5
Spearmint got out of bed, walked back to the bathroom and passed out.
By the time he got up, it was time for school. He passed out before he could get on. -5
Cinnaburst then decides that he is too hungry for school and gets off the bus.
Luckily Peanut Brittle wasn’t doing anything important at that moment and convinces both boys to go to school, despite Spearmint trying to bribe him with friendship to let him stay home.
By that time, it was noon and Jade was off work. She hit up the food truck instead of going home.
Back home, meanwhile, PB and Apple were flirting up a storm.
PB: No, nameless person, I cannot go on a date because my wife just went into labor.
The smiley faced Lifesaver is the kitten we kept.
The boys return home from school and this is where I realized that we never met, saw or took pics of the newest addition. Oops.
The younger boys came home and while Wasabi may stink, he seems pretty content and runs off to paint. Spearmint was forgotten at school, so he was never told to sleep in class and Cinnaburst got to school too late to get lunch and was on the verge of starvation.
I decided at this point that I was not happy with the lag in the new town and moved them again.
Back to the present….Please stand by.
We return to our Sim Check because I just realized that Spearmint was forgotten.
Beignet was born three towns ago, but she never aged except for going from baby to toddler at birth.
Beignet was joined by her twin sister, Mooncake.
The urns were all dropped off at the graveyard and the family trees for pets and sims were fixed.
Welcome to Roaring Heights. They were placed in a pre-built home. Some of it has been modified already, but there is still plenty that needs to be done.
The 2nd floor over the garage is where the cats stuff is and a lot of junk from adventuring. I will need to add lighting at some point though.
Top floor. The adults have not picked rooms yet, so I have no clue who will grab this one.
3rd floor: Girls room. They will be able to transition from toddler to big girls in this room without any changes except in toys.
2nd floor: Completely opposite the girls, the boys are in an overcrowded room. The other adult bedroom is here too.
The bottom floor isn’t all that wonderful to me. The kitchen, living and dining rooms all need to be overhauled.
While everyone else goes to check out the house, Jade and Apple decide that teaching the girls to walk is a top priority.
Over the course of the day, homework gets done.
Apple did not last long in the toddler training so Peanut Brittle got Mooncake all done. I do believe Jade finished teaching Beignet to walk at least.
Wasabi is on a mission to “Get to Know” everyone in the house. Poor Oleander just wants to be left alone.
Apple found the easels, but I cannot get objects in the house to show up now.
This is what the tiny studio looks like after much hate with the house/camera.
Mooncake is officially skilled up now.
I actually thought Apple was going to teach her something. Turns out she was feeding her BEFORE she started screaming bloody murder. It was a nice change.
I don’t think even Wasabi knows how this happened. There is a room of three All-in-One bathrooms right next to him. -5
Glacier decided it was his turn next while Cinnaburst is setting down his cake. -5
Spearmint went next. I had PB check all the bathrooms. They work fine. -5
Cinnaburst was the only one who did not make it into the motive mobile. PB does his best dog impression while thinking of a child’s stove waiting for him to wake up for a trip home in the motive mobile. -10
I was so annoyed that I had them move. The girls auto-teleported to the new house with a babysitter. There are no cribs yet because I forgot, so we had a double fail. -10
Everyone is just basically hanging out except for Glacier who apparently needed to finish his homework.
Beignet learns to potty. I think she still needs to learn to talk and she will be good to go.
I was just not feeling the family this time around. Glacier and Wasabi (I think) even go their birthday pop up, but I just was not interested in sticking around for that day. Spearmint and Cinnaburst are still a couple a days from teen, so an heir poll is eminent, probably after the next update, where I will hopefully be able to get back into them.

…and here is why I am not playing Sims 3 anymore (well maybe for about 2 hours a week), I bought and ended up loving Final Fantasy XIV, my first official MMO. That is my lancer, Senah. I got her from level 39 to 41 over the past few days, so I will be jumping in to the Tart’s to get one more chapter and the heir poll out for next week…or so the plan goes.
