Chapter 1.0

Welcome to The Tart ISBI: Genderbend.  Yep.  Plum is on the left, our founder, and Blackberry is on the right, our spouse.

Plum (so weird having the gender swap) is off to join the Culinary career.  He has the same traits as the female version with one exception.  Her childish trait became his Natural Cook trait.

Blackberry is off to join the Athletic career.  Her traits are the same as the original from A Berry Crazy ISBI.  I am not sure what his original LTW was, but her’s will be to Superstar Athlete.

Since we get to skip the spouse hunts for the whole challenge, after buying the $14,700 lot, they got a bank roll of a whopping $5,000 to start their lives here in Sugar Valley.

*note to self*  Apply family ties from Blackberry to Ash Grigio.

In the original story, Pets was the latest EP to be released.  I don’t have Pets for these guys, but I did let them have Supernatural instead.  Otherwise, nothing past Pets is installed for this save file.

Plum:  So, I need some fast cash.  Let’s start by buying everything you got with my $430.
Jerri:  You’re not going to make much with that, Cheapskate.

Meanwhile, at the stadium…

Blackberry:  My, my, my.  I have some amazing legs, don’t I.
Are you really just going to stand around admiring your new body?
Blackberry:  Yep.

With only $3 left, Plum was happy to find a butterfly infestation.

Plum:  Hello, my flying moneymaker!

Plum:  Yay, more money!

Plum:  It got away.

Plum:  GODDAMMIT!  I NEEDED THAT ONE!!
Dude, chill. There is still another one left.

Plum:  Yay.  Replacement!

Back at the stadium…

Blackberry:  I know, I woke up and wanted to scratch my balls, BUT THEY WERE GONE!

After putting his 3 butterflies up for consignment, Plum heads to Peppermint Pier to grab some veggies (and money bags.  Must have them all!)

Blackberry ended her first call and immediately calls someone else.

Blackberry:  So, I just realized that I have to birth babies.  I’m kind of freaked out right now.

Mods have kicked in!  I guess Emerald and Oro Mandarin are going to start something right here.

Oro:  He’s so cute!

Not sure why Caramel is bent out of shape.  Isn’t she married?

Blackberry:  I’m bored and I want to go home!

Plum has just finished harvesting the garden area and calls Blackberry home.

Not that she listened.  Candi Ann must have distracted her.

Candi:  So, what’s it like being a girl all of a sudden?  I can’t believe you agreed to the swap!
Blackberry:  So far it’s not so bad.  Ask me again when I have to bring forth children.  You’re assuming I had a choice.
Candi:  Oh, giving birth is a breeze.  A couple of hours, a few sparkles, and voila, a baby is born!

Back home, Plum, is getting low on stats, but he starts up a quick garden of just tomatoes and apples.  The rest is put in the fridge.

Not what I was hoping for, but we still have 20 money bags to cash in.

Nice!  They now have $12,151.  Maybe Blackberry will come after we enclose the bedroom area and buy her some activities.

Blackberry has now become the first one to talk to them self.

Plum:  Honey, I called you home over two hours ago!  Are you really going to be the one who has the first fail of this challenge and on the very first day?  I’m going to make dinner right now, so please come home.

With Blackberry finally on her way home, Plum makes Mac n’ Cheese with the cheese he harvested.

Blackberry:  Oh hell yeah!  I’ve always wanted one of these!

Blackberry:  God, I am so excited to workout!
Are you trying to be the most amazing spouse ever?  If so, keep doing it.

Plum:  Come eat and then we can go to bed.
Grr, she didn’t even get a level yet.

It’s getting pretty late, but we don’t want them dying on the first night, right?

Plum:  No what’s the best way to get someone to bed?
Blackberry:  What would that be?
Plum:  Trying for our first baby!
I can’t tell if that smile is fake or a sure, let’s make a baby smile.

Blackberry did not get pregnant, but someone else did!

Seriously!  Omg.  Plum is our first fail.  -5

Plum:  At least it’s on day 2!
Blackberry:  No bun is cooking in my oven

I was so interested in the Apple’s new baby, that I failed to notice this going on at the bottom of the screen.

Plum:  Well, since we are both awake, we better try again.
Blackberry: Well, if you insist.

Blackberry continues to be amazing.  Even Plum won’t water the plants..even when he is specifically told to.

I sent Plum to the library before work and he had Blackberry tag along.

Then we found out that the library is stocked with crap books.

After turning it into a residential lot, moving someone in to restock the shelves, who was then deleted and the library converted back to a comm lot, everyone finally has a chance at books.  I’m not sure how the music/recipe/alchemy books will do as they disappear when you use them, but they will be there for whoever in the world needs them.

Plum and Blackberry start work at the same time and both leave from the library for their first day.

The next morning, we get our first pop.  Now will Pop Tart be a boy like in the original, or will it be a girl.  That’s the question.

I was just scouting out the land for their new house when I noticed this.  Blackberry and Plum are fighting over his inappropriateness.  Repeatedly.  Plum had to be distracted and moved away so they didn’t tank their relationship.

The next day, Blackberry was bored and Plum was on the rock wall.  Here is the start of the house front.

And the rest.  That’s about it, but it will be done by Chapter Two.

Blackberry and Plum came home from work with promotions.  Plum went straight to bed, but not Blackberry.  She was too happy that her treadmill was traded for a weight station, one of the few activities that pregnant sims can use.

Plum heads off to the consignment store and does some flipping before heading back to Peppermint Pier for more money bags.  He might need to get rid of that stink cloud though.

Blackberry:  I don’t want to be the girl anymore!  Girly pregnant hormones suck!  I HATES IT!

Plum and Blackberry were arguing again.  I sent Plum off to violate all the gardens in town.

Holy Shit.  JACKPOT!  Sorry not sorry that Plum walked away with $80,000 that night just in money bags.  If only we knew back in 2012 what we just found out now.

Fenced in the garden and expanded the growing stuff now that Plum has reached level 5.

This is now the only fun thing around to do .

Plum:  Well, goodnight wife.
Blackberry:  You mean good morning, right?

Yes, they are on complete opposite schedules right now.

Blackberry ate the grilled cheese that Plum left out for her and then went into labor.

Pop Tart ends up being a boy, just like the first time around.  We couldn’t choose his traits though.  He is Easily Impressed and Athletic.
